Dr. Buchanan is a Diplomat of the American Board of Endodontics and a Fellow of the International and American Colleges of Dentists. He is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry.
He has logged over two million air miles lecturing around the world and has performed live demonstrations of his endodontic procedures for annual meetings of the ADA, AAE, AAED, CDA (CA), CDA (IL), as well as for all of the 450 hands-on courses he’s given at his Santa Barbara DELabs Training Academy since 1989.
Dr. Buchanan has 24 US and international patents for dental devices and has been a frequent contributor to Dentistry Today magazine for over 30 years.
Dr. Buchanan enjoys designing and making stained glass, jewelry, and furniture, but 40 years later his greatest thrill remains invading diseased root canal systems at his state-of-the-art practice in Santa Barbara, CA.
What’s new in Endodontics?
The recent development in Endodontics has paved a new way to solve problems. In this session, we will be discussing quick tips on diagnosing a patient in pain, advancements in root canal therapy, and the new changes that will be coming forward. We will also be discussing Navigation Endodontics and the new inventions of Dr. Buchanan to learn how it can help modern dentistry.
